From the backs at a rock concertI noticed several elements, situations and people at that concert: the very much loved beer and the less loved water; people quietly relaxed on the soft grass; huge tattoos, principally about demoniac themes on men and floral ones on women. However, it was difficult to see people with huge tattoos lying on the grass and wearing t-shirts. Why? Matter of virility? On the contrary, those who were aesthetically less aggressive were inclined to take a nap on the soft grass. The thing that all these people had in common was a kind of worship of beer. What does bring people to categorize themselves, at least aesthetically within a certain musical genre? The need to be recognized? Or just the need to feel they belong to that group?
So, our tastes determine our way of thinking and behavior, don't they? Or maybe is it the opposite? This series of photos were only taken on 14th June 2018 at the Foo Fighter concert in Florence, Italy (“Firenze Rocks Festival”). |
