Beach sweet beach(Please, do not take the text below too seriously)
Fortifications builders, canals and lakes diggers, shells collectors, horizons observers. People who carry on the tradition of collecting shells since their childhood, parents who are foremen of their children’s constructions, and the elders who control the general situation. And then, there are some kids who are maybe more self-sufficient and less influenced by their parents’ supervision, who do something more creative. I was at the beach in Jesolo, Italy, and, walking along the shore, I noticed that the same actions were repeated over and over while I was passing by the piers. While I was walking and photographing this scene, I wondered why those people did those stereotyped actions. Out of boredom? Is it because the others did the same? And children playing with marbles, where have they gone? And all those shells, at the end of the day, who knows where they end up? |
